Organizations are the top-level container for everything in Nixopus — projects, apps, domains, and team members all belong to an organization.

Default organization

Every user gets a default organization when they sign up. You can start deploying immediately without any setup. If you’re a solo developer, this is all you need.

Roles

Each organization member has one of three roles:
RolePermissions
OwnerFull access. Manage billing, members, and all resources. Cannot be removed.
AdminManage projects, deployments, and domains. Can invite and remove members.
MemberDeploy apps and manage assigned projects. Cannot change org settings.
The user who creates an organization is automatically the owner. Ownership cannot be transferred.

Invitations

Invite team members by email. They receive a link to join your organization with the role you assign. Invitations expire after 7 days.
